The Farmington Area COA consists of the following:

Farmington Area Commission on Aging Meetings

The Commission on Aging meets at 5:30 P. M. on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Meetings are held at Farmington City Hall, 23600 Liberty Street in Farmington (January, February, and March), and at the Costick Center, 28600 11 Mile in Farmington Hills (April, May, June, September, October, and November). The Commission does not meet in July, August or December.

The Farmington Area Commission on Aging was formed in 1977 to support the betterment of daily living for older adults in the cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills.

Mission Header Image

The Farmington Area Commission on Aging helps toward the betterment of daily living for older adults with the mission of promoting their well-being and dignity through education and advocacy.

The Commission examines social attitudes, creates community awareness, establishes a climate for living independently and encourages recognition for their contribution to the past and present.

A Consumer Protection Committee is an integral part of the commission keeping the community informed about potential fraud and scams.
